I didn't do anything out of the ordinary to corrupt the save so I don't know how it happened. Just a few weeks ago, I had a long running save be corrupted in which I didn't have a backup which sucked. Usually it runs great, but it seems like a save is always getting corrupted for some reason if I play it long enough. It does seem like I'm always having some sort of problem with this game franchise. I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the game and nothing changed so I'm at a loss for what to do currently. I made a new save and I'm still having the exact same issues. I changed the play by play to the slowest possible speed but it didn't have any effect. I went to the options and changed it to where I sim it manually, but the animation that is usually there didn't happen and the result of the at bat would happen instantly. First, usually I simulate each at bat manually, but the game would immediately start simulating by itself. Another issue is when I would go to sim a game and all of the settings were messed up. It would say their rating out of 80 but the bar wouldn't be there. When I would select a player, their ratings bar wouldn't appear. I assumed the save was corrupted or something so I loaded up my back up which didn't have that problem but had a different problem.

After reloading the save, I was still having the same problems. I then discovered a problem where if I selected a player to look at their ratings or stats, it wouldn't be the player I selected but some other random player. I didn't have anybody on the DL though and when I searched for that player, he had retired years ago. After reinstalling, I opened up my save and I got a message saying that I needed to activate a guy from the DL after trying to advance to the next day. Everything was working fine yesterday, but when I went to play today, the game had to reinstall on my laptop for some reason. Sorry in advance if this is long, but I kind of want to know if others have had these issues.
